Explanation of Descriptive text that contents
a.       Definition
Description text is a text that describe a particular person, place, or thing.
                        b.    Description text consists of :
n  Identification
                                                Identifies the thing/person being described.
                                                Example : I live with my dad.
n  Description
                                                Describe parts, qualities, and characteristic.
                                    Example : My dad is fat. He has spiky black hair and a moustache.
3.      Learning methods/technique: Demonstration, Role Play, and Discussion.
4.      Steps of activities
a.       Opening activities
To ask and answer various things related to the students condition
e.g.:           are you all?
                  Who is missing today?
                  What’s wrong with…?
                  At the last meeting we have studied…

b.      Main activities
1.      students listen to the dialogues that contain the expression of inviting, accept/refuse the invitation.
2.      students discuss the function and usage of the expressions they have just listened.
3.      students determine the meaning and function of the expression they have been heard.
4.      repeat the expression of inviting, accept/refuse said by the teacher or by the cassette.
5.      make the short dialogue to say and responds the invitation then students play the role play.

c.       Closing activities
1.      ask the students’ difficulties during the teaching and learning process.
2.      ask the students to draw the conclusion of the expressions they have just studied.
3.      ask the students to make the short dialogue with friend. The dialogue use the expression of inviting, accept/refuse the invitation as a homework, then play the role in front of the class.

            I have a new backpack. Its color is soft green. I always bring it whenever I go to school. It is made of strong fabric.
            My backpack has several different parts. The first part is the pocket where I put my money and library card. The second part is the main part. I always put my books and pencil case in it. The third part is a small pocket at the left side of the backpack. I keep a bottle of plain water in this pocket.
